Im only 15 so ive got to ask mums permission to buy pets to have at home and she wont let me have anything big like a cat or dog because we already have those(as family pets). I am told that you have to take a 'bird bath' the next day. Don't mean to sound foolish, but what exactly is that? Is it a sponge bath,or can you actually take a low-water-pressure shower?
Also, I was told that the nurses change your pads. Do they do this your entire stay?
As far as walking goes, did you request to get up & walk, or was there a time requirement for you to stay in bed? I hear the sooner you get up the better and I want to make sure that if there is no specific guidelines and they don't ask that I request to get moving after a few hours (even if i don't want to)
How long was it till you got to be with your baby? straight from recovery? Were you too tired? What was your experience?
Lastly, was yours planned or unplanned?
