Get a bowl and mix the following ingredients:
1/2 c flour
1 egg
1 pat of butter
handful of catnip
1 tb sour cream
1/4 c shredded cheese
1/4 c milk
Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Pour into lightly greased muffin tin. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. While hot, spread top thinly with cream cheese and sprinkle with cat nip. Let cool. Do not feed to cat while hot as it could burn them. Makes 2 cupcakes. Serving size: 1 cupcake.
I made up this recipe the other night while making people cupcakes. There’s a cupcake shop nearby that sells catnip cupcakes for cats and our kitty Paddington just goes crazy for them so I thought I’d make up a recipe and try them out on her. She LOVED them! Meowed like crazy!
