What is your opinion on this cat food? Do you use it and if so how long have you been using it and how does it effect you cat?
My cat has been on purina one natural blends and he doesnt handle it very well, my vet suggested I try the chicken soup food…any opinions
Its a Natural Organic Holistic cat food, they sell it at pet specialty stores..not stores like petco ro petsmart

I would recommend trying Iams.
This brand has solid nutrition for a reasonable price. It comes very recommended for cats with stomach problems as it does not contain wheat or corn, ingredients that cats do not easily digest (the culprits of most sensitive tummies.) When making the switch make sure to mix a small amount of chicken soup food into your cats old food, gradually increasing the amount of new food over a 10 day period until your cat is just eating the new kind. This will save him further stomach upset.

I use this food, for my cat and Min Pin! They seem to handle it very well. Google, dog food analysis, to see what is REALLY in different brands of dog food! Just remember, to introduce your pet, gradually, with a new food. I mixed 50:50, for a few days, and then started adding lesser and lesser of “old” food. Give it a try! :)
Its fine,certainly better than purina.My brothers cats eat it with a little bit of tuna on top
I don’t feed my cat that but it’s a good food, better than Purina One
Natural Blends. I like how Chicken Soup doesn’t have corn in it.
Purina One has “corn gluten meal……, oat meal, brown rice, whole grain wheat, whole grain corn” too many grains for my taste.

It’s a good food that can be hard to locate. If you decide to try it buy plenty.
It’s a pretty good food. The only downside I saw with our cats is that the pieces are harder than most dry foods and one of ours had trouble crunching it (he’s got sensitive teeth). Otherwise it was fine. Good protein levels, nice price. All the cats liked the taste.
I have just switched my cat to this food this past week. He loved it immediately! He ate around the morsels of his old food. My cat has a sensitive stomach and has always thrown up a lot. I have tried what I thought to be “good” brands such as Iams, Royal Canin, Nutri Source, and Wellness and yet he still would throw up. I am hoping this food will be better on his tummy. So far he has only thrown this one up one time, but I had run almost completely out of his old food thinking I was just going to buy the same one, so I didn’t have much to mix in. I hope that was why… Either way, he loves it like he has never loved any other cat food in his life!
